G.B.S.S.S Dharampura School located in Najafgarh,New Delhi-110043, District- South-west-B, Zone-22
1.Humble Beginnings and Rapid Expansion
Our school building, officially designated by Building ID 18221059, has been a central fixture of educational excellence in Zone 22 of District South-west B for decades. The journey began in 1996 when the institution was first established as a Middle School.
This initial foundation quickly proved successful, demonstrating a growing need for higher-level education in the community. As a result, the school embarked on a rapid series of upgrades to meet the community's evolving needs.
2.Milestones and Senior Secondary Status
The new millennium brought significant growth and development to our campus. Just five years after its establishment, in 2001, the school was officially upgraded to a comprehensive Co-ed Secondary School. This expansion allowed us to serve a wider age range and offer more advanced curricula.
Building on this success, the ultimate upgrade was achieved in 2003, when the institution attained the status of a full-fledged Co-ed Senior Secondary School. This milestone ensured that local students could complete their entire K-12 education right here, fostering a deep connection between the school and the community it serves
3.The Bi-furcation and Two-Shift System

A crucial turning point in the building’s history occurred in March 2011 with the bi-furcation. To maximize the utility of the educational resources and premises, the single institution was split into two distinct, high-quality schools operating on a two-shift system.
This strategic move allowed us to double the student capacity and offer focused learning environments for different student populations. Today, the building proudly houses SKV Dharampura (ID 1822061) in the Morning Shift and GBSSS Dharampura (ID 1822258) in the Evening Shift.
4 Modern Campus and Commitment to Safety
The physical infrastructure of our campus is designed to support a vibrant and busy learning environment for both schools. With a substantial total of 67 rooms, including classrooms, labs, and specialized areas, we provide ample space for academic, co-curricular, and administrative activities.
Furthermore, our commitment to student well-being is paramount; the safety and security of everyone on campus are regularly assessed, and we are proud to maintain compliance, evidenced by the renewal of our Fire Safety Certificate on March 7, 2013. This legacy of growth, adaptation, and unwavering dedication to safety continues to define our mission.
